Hamilton, whose career has suffered a start-stop path in recent years, has been handed a chance to return to the top of the sport when he faces WKN K1-styleworld champion Daniel Zahra.

The promoter and former world champion Billy Murray who has staged kickboxing at the Ulster Hall for over 25 years said: “Christmas has come early for the sport of kickboxing in Ireland. KICKmas has returned, and with it a world title shots for Gary Hamilton, Karl McBlain, Darren McMullan and Ursula Agnew. What more could any fight fan wish for this festive season? How about another four title fights – three of them European and a British title? Ulster Hall fight fans will also see a special fight attraction by MMA and kickboxing star Yohan Kongolo with Dublin’s tough guy Aidan Brooks.

“We will have a fight card that will have fans anticipating another great night of action at the Ulster Hall. I remember all my fights at the Ulster Hall especially first professional title win in 1988 as if it was yesterday; I can still hear that crowd screaming, and I know 2013 will be just the same.”
