Batu Sergeyevich Khasikov is a professional Russian kickboxer and martial artist. He is the ISKA, WAKO PRO, WKA and W5 K-1 World Champion, WAKO PRO European Champion, three-time Russian Champion in kickboxing, winner some “Battle of Champions” (Russian Union of Martial Arts) and “Battle of Moscow” (Fight Nights).

As of December 2012, Khasikov is ranked the #10 middleweight in the world by LiverKick.com.

Biography and career

Batu was born in Moscow, Russia. He was raised in Elista, Republic of Kalmykia, Russia. In 1991 Batu Khasikov started training in Kyokushin kaikan at a local club in Lagan, a Kalmyk city on coast of Caspian sea. Aleksandr Alymov was his trainer.

He had more than 200 amateur fights.

He won the WAKO Pro 75 kg world title from Mohamed Reza Nazari at the Team Russia vs. Team Asia event in Khabarovsk, Russia on October 14, 2012 when he TKO’d the Iranian due to a broken jaw from a knee strike.

Khasikov then faced Gago Drago at Battle of Moscow 8 in Moscow on November 3, 2012 and won via devastating knockout in round one.

Khasikov and Mike Zambidis will have a rematch fight and challenge the WKN Middleweight Kickboxing World Championship at Fight Night: Battle of Moscow XV event in Moscow, Russia on March 28, 2014.

Biography and Career

Mineev had many W.A.K.O. amateur medals, he was two times European champion, 2008 in Portugal and 2012 in Turkey.

On December 5, 2009 he knocked out Belarusan Sergey Zelinskiy in second round and won vacant W.A.K.O. Pro K1 rules world championship.

In 2012 he fought Daniel Dorrer for WKA heavyweight title. Dorrer survived a devastating right hook in the second round, and Mineev won the fight by unanimous decision after three rounds.

He fought Ali Cenik at Fight Nights: Battle of Moscow 9 in Moscow, Russia on December 15, 2012. Mineev was down in round two but he was better fighter in first and third round and earned extra round. Extra round was also in the sign on Mineev and Cenik was in knockdown, witch brought him decision victory. This fight showed that he still has a lot of room for improvement, but also that he is true prospect.

Mineev took on another Dutchman when he fought Revanho Blokland at Fight Nights: Battle of Moscow on February 23, 2013 and won by KO in two. He faced Thiago Beowulf for the WKN Kickboxing Heavyweight World Championship at Fight Night Saint Tropez in Saint-Tropez, France on August 4, 2013, winning by decision.

He will defend his WKN Kickboxing Heavyweight World Championship at Fight Night: Battle of Moscow XV event in Moscow, Russia on March 28, 2014 against Sergej Maslobojev.
