Giant Hoost for the Fight Game in northern ireland
K1 Kickboxing Legend Ernesto Hoost is back in Northern Ireland with a new title to his credit.

The Martial Art giant was recently honoured with a special award by the Queen of Holland for his work as an ambassador for sport in the Netherlands. He is the first martial artist from his country to be bestowed with the honour. This is Mr Perfect’s second trip to the Emerald Isle, the K1 superstar had previously visited the province for the Prokick Kickboxing awards where he picked up a lifetime achievement award. The popular ring legend staged coaching classes at the celebrated ProKick HQ.

“I’m so pleased Mr Ernesto Hoost accepted our invitation to come back to Northern Ireland.” said event organiser Billy Murray. “Ernesto is a 5 time winner of the K1 kickboxing Grand Prix Championship – which is the biggest and richest martial art stand-up combat sport in the world. Our ProKick fighters and students saw why he gets the name ‘Mr ‘Perfect’ when they witnessed him in action over the weekend.”

K1 Legend Ernesto Hoost arrives at the Prokick Gym”He was given a great welcome by our members who attended the seminars and also from our Prokick kids.”

Hoost also had the chance to coach WKN world champion Gary Hamilton on some K1 techniques ahead of Gary’s first K1 style bout next month in France;

“It was great to see Ernesto give advice to the up-n-coming kids as he watched them spar.” Said Gary Hamilton. “To get a man of this calibre to look over our fighters and pass on some of his knowledge is a dream come true.”
