WKN Argentina: Five bouts added to Simply the Best 22 Buenos Aires


Simply the Best 22 Buenos Aires takes place at the Club GEI on September 22. The event features a mixed-fight bill and a set of WKN titles contested on the night.

The event is headlined by a championship rematch between Argentine Cristian Bosch and Colombian Andres Dussan. The pair battles out for WKN International Super Light Heavyweight title in Muay Thai. Also on the card Argentine Martin Velasco faces Colombian Eduardo Vergara for WKN International Middleweight title.

A number of additional matchups have been added to the card.

The first women’s contest has been announced featuring Mariana Jofre up against her country-fellow Giuliana Cosnard. The pair squares off in a three round kickboxing bout at lightweight.

Two MMA bouts have been added to the programme. A pair of Argentine fighters Pablo “Perro” Dhorta (6-1) and Rodrigo Pezoli (5-2) square off at lightweight. Argentine Esteban Bonaveri faces Yeferson Lopez of Uruguay at Welterweight.

As well, Enzo Ganna takes on Christian Guido in a three-round all-Argentine Super Featherweight Muay Thai battle, and Super Welterweight Juan Giudicce faces his Argentine-fellow Leonardo De Oliveira also in Muay Thai. The current lineup can be found below.

STB 22 is featured on the “Estrellas de Acero” programme on FOX Sports Latin America, CN 23 and B1B Action TV. President of World Kickboxing Network Stephane Cabrera attends the event as a special guest.
